Dear Friend,

Welcome to our website. I am sure that you will enjoy your visit and that you will be impressed by what our school has to offer.

Jubilee Park Primary School is a lively, exciting place of learning and has a growing reputation within the local and educational community.   At Jubilee we work hard to raise our children's aspirations and also value the individual achievements of each child. (Click here to read some important policies)   Here at Jubilee Park Primary School all staff are dedicated with a passion to raise standards and to improve the life chances of the children. We encourage all children to 'Reach for the Stars'.

The school has a broad and balanced curriculum that is further enhanced by a range of exciting extra-curricular sporting activities such as a Football Fitness, Street Dance, Dodgeball and other 'less strenuous' pursuits such as gardening club and Breakfast Club. We also have a high quality childcare provision with lots of fun activities for pupils (The Extra Time Club) daily between 3:30pm until 6.00pm and children living in the surrounding area also have the opportunity to join us on the Walking Bus to travel into school. Jubilee Park Primary School also has special focus weeks when the children, staff and visiting specialists work on exciting art, technology, cultural, language and science projects.

At Jubilee park, we believe that good attendance improves the life chances of children and enables them to achieve their full potential.  The school's, and current Government target, specify that  attendance should be around 95% for the academic year and does allow for genuine illnesses. We are proactive in asking all parents to support us in providing medical evidence for all absences if the child's attendance is 90% or below. (Click here to read guidance notes about unavoidable school closures.)

We value the networking and links with other institutions, services and groups. We are involved in  a number partnerships with other schools, local community and voluntary organisations: School to School Network, Tipton Learning Community and Tipton North Extended Partnership (delivering the core offer) where we work closely with these organisations to raise standards, enhance teaching and learning, in providing activities, events and courses for the community and in developing an exciting curriculum for our pupils!

The school recently underwent a successful Ofsted Inspection in March 2007 in which we were judged as is providing a satisfactory education, whilst good leadership and management ensuring that it is on an upward trend. All aspects of work within the school are either described as satisfactory or good and are detailed in the final report. Full copies are available on request from the front office, through the link on this website or directly from OFSTED at www.ofsted.gov.uk
